AppBox is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal data necessary for functionality and never sell or share your personal information with third parties.
Overview
This privacy policy ("Policy") applies to the AppBox ("AppBox", "we", "us", "our", getappbox.com, web.getappbox.com, install.getappbox.com, status.getappbox.com, appbox.me) on all platforms (macOS App, Web, Mobile Web, Apps, Emails). By using AppBox, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information (as defined below) in accordance with this Policy.
Information We Collect
- AppBox macOS application doesn't collect any personally identifiable data.
- AppBox macOS application generates a short URL (appbox.me) through a self-hosted open-source tool YOURURLS, which does not disclose personal information. It stores the following data
- Public IP
- Long Install URL
- Short Install URL
- Number of requests for a short URL
Third party services
When using AppBox, you must also agree to the privacy policies and terms of service of the third-party services we use.
Dropbox
AppBox uses Dropbox to host your IPA and metadata files. The AppBox macOS application stores your auth token locally in your macOS keychain. We don't store your login information or authentication token on our server.
Mailgun
Mailgun is used by AppBox to send emails. All Mailgun requests are processed client-side and no email data is collected by AppBox.
AppBox Web installation application uses Google Analytics and Google Adsense
Changes to this Policy
We may change this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage).
